David Goffin defeated and stunned six-time champion Roger Federer and reach the final of the ATP in London. This was his first victory in seven attempts against the 19-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer.
After the match Goffin said that “I have no words. I cannot describe how I’m feeling. I feel so much joy and so much happiness,”
The 36 year old Federer had a strong chance to win his seventh title at the season finale. This is his Fifth defeat of the season 2017.
Federer had a complete domination over Goffin in the first set. But Federer cannot continue his lead and finally he have to agree his defeat against the Belgian. The result was 2-6, 6-3 and 6-4.
Goffin will face Grigor Dimitroy in the finals. The final will be held on Sunday 19th November 2017 at The O2 Arena, London.
