After the brilliant performance in the IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders, The former Indian player Robin Uthappa is all set to play for Kerala team in the next Ranji season. Latest reports suggest that he had come to this decision consequent of his disagreements with the Karnataka Cricket association.
Mr.Jayesh George, Kerala Cricket Association Seceratery confirmed that discussions are going on.Jayesh also said that KCA talked to Uthappa and that the star shall let know of his final decision soon.
At the same time, it won’t be a surprise if Uthappa decides to play for Kerala, because he was ignored from the Karnataka team for the Ranji Quarter Finals of the last season. Karnataka cricket association decided to remove Uthappa from the playing eleven just because the star’s performance graph went down once in the last three seasons; it turned out 912, 759 and 328 respectively.
