The 31-year-old Spanish midfielder has signed a new contract extension with Premier League leaders Manchester City until 2020. In 2010 he joined Manchester City from Valencia for £24m. He is one the most influential players in the history of the club. During his time Manchester City, the team has won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups.
Silva has the maximum number of assists in this season in Premier League. Eight assists have been scored by him in this season so far. For City he had a total of 324 appearances in all competitions. He had scored 52 goals in his City Career. In this season he has scored once in 18 games.

City are now eight points lead at the top of the league table.They are having 12 consecutive wins this season.
