The Indian cricket chief coach Ravi Shastri and player Shikhar Dhawan visited the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday ahead of the final Twenty – 20I between India and New Zealand on Tuesday. Both of them offered prayers and spent some time at the famous temple which has a great historical importance.
This is not the first time that Ravi Shastri has visited the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. According to reports, Shastri had visited here earlier with his mother in his childhood.
They both spent an hour at the famous temple along with some BCCI officials and also offered ‘butter’ to Lord Hanuman for the health and well being of family. Shastri offered a coconut to the ‘Agrashala Ganapathy’.
With the three-match series tied at 1-1, the Indian team will take on New Zealand in the third and the final Twenty-20I at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The match is going to be very interesting and it is a game that every cricket fan is looking forward to.
