PV Sindhu, the newly-crowned Korea Open champion, is ready to aim for a third Super Series title this season at Japan Open. However, she will face tough challenge from Nozomi Okuhara and Carolina Marin.
But before the competition heats up, a selfie of these three badminton players gets viral on internet. It is because the selfie has the world’s finest women badminton players in it.
A recent selfie, that was posted by Olympic gold medalist Carolina Marin has re-established the fact that what happens on field, stays on the field. The Spanish badminton player posted a selfie with two of her biggest rivals and world’s top ranked badminton players, India’s PV Sindhu and Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara.
PV Sindhu completes the relation triangle between three. Sindhu, who was denied an Olympic gold medal at Rio by losing it to Spaniard Carolina Marin. But later she took the sweet revenge by defeating Carolina in Indian title.
The other competitor which is giving Sindhu a tough run, is Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara. Sindhu and Nozomi met in two back-to-back finals (World Championships & Korea Open). Okuhara won the World Championship final. Sindhu defeated her in the Korea Open series.
