It was Mumbai Indians bowlers who deserves the credit for defending a low total 130 runs and emboss their name on the coveted trophy for the third time, making them the successful team in IPL history.
Rohit Sharma decided to bat first in the final so as to set a big total and put some pressure on RPS. But Mumbai Indians endured batting collapse and half of the team was back in the pavilion for just 65 runs.
