Danni Wyatt scored her first Twenty20 International century and helped her side to chase a record of 179. This helped the England to win the match and draw the multi-format Women’s Ashes series.

Wyatt score 100 runs from 56 balls including two sixes and 13 boundaries. Wyatt and Heather Knight had a partnership of 139 runs from 75 balls.Their partnership rescued England from 30-3 and win by four wickets in Canberra.

This was the highest successful women’s Twenty20 Internationals run chase in the history. England lost their three wickets in first five overs from there they chased a huge score and defeated the hosts from their own ground.

It was Wyatt’s maiden international hundred. She had her first half-century for England four days before. Australia’s Beth Mooney also scored 117 runs , and she became the  second-highest scorer in women’s T20s.

“It’s a bit surreal, I still can’t believe what’s happened. I  just focused on the ball. I told myself ‘focus’. Then I looked at the board and I was 95. I was like Knight, what’s going on?” she said after the match

The Australia won the first of three T20 internationals to lead 8-4 and retained the Women’s Ashes. But England won the last two to secure .The Women’s Ashes series was already retained Australia but the series ended in a draw of 8-8.
